Taylor and Kristin's Wedding

This weekend was just jam-packed with fun! Thursday night got things out to a wonderful start when Alli and her boyfriend Chris drove in from Denver and met up with the club for dinner. We hadn't seen her since our wedding because she spent the spring semester in Africa, so it was so sweet and so needed to see her and catch up! Here she is holding Carson for the first time with Julie. And we've got to have a picture of his sweet face! Michaela and I smothering him with auntie kisses! Alli actually came in town for Taylor and Kristin Clauson's wedding! We were both bridesmaids and Daniel was a groomsman, so we got to see the day from the inside. The ceremony was beautiful, the bride gorgeous (unfortunately the only picture we got of them is dark and blurry and shows neither of their faces), and the reception was a blast! Daniel and I love any opportunity to dance!

We were so excited that Brice was there, since we hadn't seen him since the end of last semester. Here the guys are.... Brice, Chris J, and Daniel.
Sweet Hannah and I.... sister of the groom, best friend of the bride.
And finally, to cap off our weekend, Daniel and I drove to his hometown on Sunday morning to surprise his mom for her birthday. Her surprise party later that evening was a complete success, and we loved being with his family one last time before going back to Manhattan. Of course, we're the worst at remembering to bring the camera inside, so we don't have any pictures. Micah just keeps growing every time we see him. He's now laughing and smiling all the time. At one point he started to play peek-a-boo with me (unwittingly, I know). He's pull his burp cloth up over his face and then quickly yank it down again with a slightly startled expression on his sweet face. He is so adorable!
As for this week, we're back to work through Thursday, and then move to Manhattan on Friday. I have an interview that I'm really really hoping goes well on Friday for a job there. It has better hours, better pay, and better opportunity than my job at the high school. Also, I would have a more active, leading, busy role, which I would enjoy very much. I'll keep you posted as to how that goes. (Actually, I don't really know if there are any "you's," but I like blogging anyway!) Daniel starts school on Monday. We're looking forward to finding out how fourth year is compared to last year. Hopefully the rumors are true, and it won't be quite as time consuming or stressful. Either way, it's only four months, and then we'll be off to another internship, hopefully in a new and exciting city!
