After a wonderful Christmas Eve and morning with Daniel's family, we drove to my hometown to spend the rest of our break. We have thoroughly enjoyed every moment with our families, sleeping 8 hours (at least!) at night, and just a chance to be together stress-free! We've played a ton of pitch, bridge, loaded questions, apples to apples, stratego, and arabian slapjack. Reconnecting with friends and deep conversations with family have been a special blessing to us both. I am so thankful that we had these couple of weeks with family before Boston.
Much of our time has also been spent trying to nail down an apartment for Boston, researching travel routes, and packing. Boston seems so exciting, but I confess it hasn't felt real yet. I'm not sure that it will until we actually pack up and get on the road. Our plan is to leave either Wednesday or Thursday, drive all the way to Lancaster, PA the first day (16 hours!), followed by a 6 hour drive to Boston the next day. Daniel starts work on the seventh, so hopefully that will give us a chance to move in, grocery shop, and explore Boston a little bit!
Here are a few more pictures of our break. There are about a hundred more of Micah, but I resisted posting them all! He is so precious!
Micah (in a reindeer hat!) and Brian Already a computer whiz! This is the next generation...
Dad M and Daniel strategizing where to store all of our stuff! We are renting furniture in Boston, so my parents have graciously allowed us to leave everything in the basement.

Double date with Ryan and his girlfriend Mallory. We had a blast testing out the massage chairs at Sharper Image, playing with all the toys in the Apple store, and enjoying chocolate fondue at the Melting Pot.
Today we celebrated Adam's 20th birthday at Houlihan's. And no, I'm not sure what Ryan is doing!
