Brian came to visit us a few weeks ago, but I just haven't gotten around to posting about it. We had a great time walking the Freedom Trail, seeing Fenway Park, and just hanging out.
The subway... not too exciting, but a cool shot.
Brewer Fountain in the Boston Commons
A building adjacent to the Old Granery Graveyard.
I love the rusted copper next to the deep brick.
Inside the King's Chapel... this was probably one of two favorite stops on the trail.
The building is gorgeous, and there is so much history!
The pews are boxed in to help keep out the cold air.
George Washington once sat in one of these pews!
The organ.
Isn't this a gorgeous picture? I love the light reflecting on the ceiling.
The Old South Meeting HouseStatue of Paul Revere, with the Old North Church in the background. The plaza surrounding the statue must really be beautiful in the summer. We will have to revisit!
The Old North Church... "One if by land, two if by sea."
Inside it is very similar to King's Chapel, but feels lighter.
Cobbs Hill Burying Ground. The Mather's are some of the famous people buried here.
Bunker Hill Memorial
Fenway!
This picture is from inside the press box... the Green Monstor is visible on the left.
There were several renovations going on; thus the crane and white tarps.
This is pathetic, but this is the only picture I have of the three of us together, and you can't even see our faces! Maybe Brian can send me some of his... hint hint :-)?

The Paul Revere statue is indeed gorgeous in the summer. :) I was with two guy friends at that point in the day. The short one wanted to climb on top of the tall one (6'5") and give ol' Pauly a high five. :)
