Daniel's parents came out to visit us this weekend, and we had a blast seeing more of Boston with them and also just sitting back and relaxing. We've been missing our families, so having them visit was a wonderful encouragement.
Here we are at the Samuel Adams Brewery. We took a short tour, got to taste some barley grains and smell the hops, see all of the brewing equipment, and finally got to the tasting room! They had three different beers for us to taste: the Boston Lager, White Ale, and Summer Ale. Delicious! Plus we got to take home the glasses!

Mom and Dad G outside the tour. Saturday was pretty cold, but the rest of their visit was as warm as its been here.
After the brewery, we went to Legal Seafoods on the wharf and sampled some delicious seafood! We all got something different so that we could sample each other's, so we tried lobster, clams, mullosks, crabcakes, mahi mahi, and a lobster roll. VERY YUMMY! Legal Seafoods definitely lives up to its reputation!
After Legal Seafoods, we walked along Long's Wharf, where Daniel took this awesome picture of the boats in the harbor. On our way home we walked through the New England Holocaust Memorial. Each tower represents one of the death camps, and each number on the tower represents a life. There are quotes from survivors and some staggering statistics scattered throughout the memorial.
You can't walk through and not be moved.

The rest of the weekend we really just took it easy. They brought some videos of Micah, which Daniel and I were delighted to see! On Monday and Tuesday we had to work, so they were able to walk the freedom trail and see some museums at Harvard during the day, and in the evenings we made dinner and hung out. We feel so blessed that our families have and will visit us and share a little in our experience here in Boston.
