Seeing Baby yesterday has made it more of a reality that we are almost parents! I am still feeling pretty good; even the heartburn has disappeared, and that was my biggest complaint. Baby moves a ton, which I am loving, and I feel like I am growing every day! At my doctor's appointment, my belly was measuring at about 24 weeks, but in the ultrasound we saw that Baby is right on track for December 15, weighing in at 2 lbs, 2 oz. Daniel tried his best to see the sex, but Baby was doing a pretty good job of hiding! (Good job, Baby!) I guess he/she wants to be a surprise!
Other than peeking at Baby's picture every chance we get, Daniel and I have been trying to establish routine here in Manhattan. I am working again at the KSU Child Development Center as a toddler teacher. They keep me very busy, and I'm getting all kinds of training for mothering a toddler! Daniel has the best schedule of his college experience! Although he still spends a good amount of time in studio, it doesn't even remotely compare to the last couple of years. His professor is from Norway, and so they are designing a building in his hometown. The best part is, Daniel will get to travel to Norway in early November to research the site. How many times in life do you get the opportunity to go to Norway? I am so excited for him! (Do pray, though, that Baby will not be early!)
