Yikes, time is flying! Well, I am now home with my family for the rest of the week. Daniel gets back Saturday night, and I can't wait to see him! We have skyped every couple of days, though, so at least I get to hear his voice and see his face (all for free!). After a few days of sightseeing and exploring, they've been working hard researching and preparing a presentation.
Baby and I are doing well. I have my first weekly doctor's appointment tomorrow, and so I should know a little more after that. It hasn't really sunk in yet that this is the beginning of the end and that Baby's arrival is so close. In a weekly "Your Pregnancy" email I receive, they said that we should be starting to pack our bags just in case. Wow, is it really that close???
I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the "nesting phase." Not being the most organized or neat person you'll ever meet, but married to a man who definitely appreciates order and cleanliness, I've been praying that the nesting would start early and stick around for a while! Finally, this past weekend, I decided that if it wouldn't arrive on its own, maybe I could give it a little kick start. So, I took everything out of our closets, reorganized, and put it all back in. Although I'm so glad I did, and thankful that we now have a place for the stroller, I'm not convinced the nesting phase is ever going to arrive. I think I'm having more of a crafting phase, which seems like so much more fun to me! I'm working on knitting Baby a hat right now, so I'll post a picture when I'm done.
Daniel and I have enjoyed dreaming about who our little one will look like ever since we knew he/she existed, and so we got out some or our baby pictures, and I thought I'd share a few with you guys! For some reason, I can't get the scanner to work here at my parents, so I'll have to work on mine, but here is Daniel:

A few months old... what a cutie! I hope Baby looks like that!

We are so excited for you and praying for Daniel to return safely and SOON. I need you to show me how to knit a hat - I can't seem to move on past scarves ;-)

By the way, I have a real blog now. One I actually told people about besides you. I just started it today, but I thought I should let you know. Finally!
