Today Elli tried her first bottle and loved it! I wasn't sure how she would react to it, but she didn't hesitate for a second. She was so adorable, just looking up at her daddy the whole time.
Elli's other accomplishment this week is smiling. She has always smiled quite a bit for a newborn, but never in response to something around her. On Sunday Daniel and I were cuddling in bed with her, and out of the blue she just started to give us the biggest smiles when we talked to her! Of course, the minute we pulled out the video camera, she stopped, but one day soon I will post a video for you. My new goal for her awake times is simply to make this girl smile! Nothing is more rewarding!
