Our time with Daniel's family flew by much too quickly! We had a great time showing them our new home, introducing Micah to Shamu at Sea World, and just hanging out. My only regret is that we did not take enough pictures, but we were too busy having fun!
Even though it's only been about six weeks since we've seen our nephew, we were amazed at how much he has grown! You might think we're biased (and we are), but he's brilliant! He already knows his alphabet and what some of the letters say; he can tell you the first question of the Westminster catechism (precious!); and he has a great memory. He was so happy and well-behaved the whole time, even when he missed his nap! Plus... he's just FUN! I miss him so much already! Elli adored him, and it was sweet to see how much they interacted even at such young ages. And it's just going to get better! Every time they see each other, they will be better able to play together!
Micah and Colin
Nona and Micah looking at pictures. After we went to Sea World, Micah wanted to see pictures of the dolphins. He really seemed to enjoy them.
Colin, Christine, and Micah
Elli and her Papa.
She hardly stopped smiling the whole weekend.
The cousins playing... it's really hard to get a good picture of both of them, they move too quickly!

This picture does not do any justice to Micah's adventures in the pool, but it's the only one I have! He hasn't been a very big fan of water, especially on his head and face. At first he just wanted to sit on the steps and watch, but he warmed up to it and even put his head under! We were so proud of him!

These pictures are SOOOO good Megan! Looks like y'all had a blast - what fun family memories! I love seeing Elli and Micah together!
Oh Megan! Elli is not a baby any more. Wow. I can't believe how much she's grown in just a few months!
So many of many of her expressions look just like Daniel. It cracks me up!
Great pictures! Micah looks so big next to Elli. Where have the last 2 years GONE?!?!
Love it Meg! You have the prettiest baby girl! (Don't worry Jewel, you have gorgeous kids too!) I love the new pictures. She is looking so much like you and Daniel, I can definitely tell she is yours! We miss you soooo much and want to come visit.
Love,
Michaela
That brought tears to my eyes! I really wasn't ready to go home.
