The past weekend was so beautiful here, that we could not resist the opportunity to get outside and enjoy it! We decided to use our zoo membership (thanks, Papa and Nona!) for the second time, and explore Africa. Elli was pretty fascinated with the animals, but probably even more so with all of the other little kids running around. My little social butterfly!
Um, I'm not sure that you're really supposed to get this close, but there were no signs saying otherwise!
The zoo has a great exhibit for rhinos (not that you can see them here), and we got to watch an elephant being groomed.
It was a perfect winter day!
So perfect, in fact, that Elli fell asleep almost immediately upon being put in the car.
