My brother, Michael, got in town yesterday afternoon, the uncle we jokingly refer to as "The Giver of Pooh," because he brilliantly gave Elli her Pooh Bear about a year ago. Since then, he has been slowly buying her affection with other Pooh buddies. :) Eeyore joined the gang this time, and he has already received many kisses and snuggles.
Even though Elli has been showing some hesitation around grown men, she warmed up to Uncle Michael in no time! Ten minutes after we walked in the door, she asked him to hold her while she drank her milk. So sweet!
This morning we visited the Japanese Tea Gardens. We are in that early spring stage where everything is fluorescent green and the trees are blooming!
The pond is full of goldfish and turtles and ducks, so Elli was fascinated!
