My parents came to see us this weekend, and we had two full days of relaxing and fun! Elli had so much fun that she went down for her nap today at 10! Swimming, cooking out, shopping, lunch date, new church service, koi pond, and all around go-go-go-ing made for a perfect summer weekend!
One reason Elli is so worn out is her Christmas present from Grandpa and Mia:
A KITCHEN!!!
At Christmas we decided to wait a little while before actually getting one, and I'm so glad we did! Developmentally, I think she's enjoying it more now than she would have then, and I know my parents enjoyed seeing her so delighted!
Elli LOVES putting food in and out of the oven...
...playing with all the toy food and utensils...
...learning how to pour herself a cup of refreshing water...
And who can resist this delicious apron-adorned eighteen-month-old!
The weekend went much too quickly, but we're thankful it will only be a month before we see them again!
