Thankful

I have so many things to be thankful for this year, but here are some of the top of my list:
  • Most importantly - God's never-ceasing graciousness and faithfulness to me.  I deserve the absolute worst, and yet He gives me His best.  This year has brought a much deeper understanding of my sin, but alongside that, a greater appreciation for his love and mercy.
  •  My sweet, sweet daughter!  She brings so much joy and purpose to my day and life, and plus - she is so much fun!!!  Can't get enough of her!
  • The precious new member of our family who is yet unknown to us.  I am overwhelmed that the Lord has given us another child, and can not wait to meet and fall in love with this new little person!
  • Lastly, and second only to my Lord - I am especially thankful for my husband this year.  Countless times during these past few months - when I haven't even been able to walk past the kitchen without gagging, have spent almost every morning and evening either sick or sleeping, and most of the day laying on the couch trying to keep Elli occupied - Daniel has cleaned the kitchen, changed more than his share of dirty diapers, gotten up with Elli in the mornings, never complained about my 8:30 bedtime, and come home from a crazy day at work only to play with the Elli-tornado and clean up her debris.  Hard as this time has been on the both of us, he has made it easier on everybody but himself.  Thanks, hon!  You are an amazing husband and father!
