Santa

 Daniel and I took Elli to see Santa yesterday.  She knew who he was, from books and just seeing him in the store, but I don't think she had any idea that he was going to be a real man.  Whenever I said she could go "sit in Santa's lap," she would pat her own lap or put the Santa ornament in her lap.  When we got to the mall and saw him, she was very interested and excited, but when it was her turn to go see him, she was definitely hesitant.  Finally she got the courage to go give him a high five...

 

 And then we tried sitting in Santa's lap.....

 No go.

But she recovered fairly quickly.

Overall, a trip to see Santa is pretty exhausting.  :)
