Gingerbread Houses

Our annual G-family Gingerbread House Contest was so much fun this year!  Everyone improved from last year, and it was fun to see all the new ideas.

Daniel and I decided to go with a theme this year, so we made houses for Santa's reindeer.  I loved how Daniel created the reindeer!

Colin and Christine made this awesome church.  It's hard to tell in the picture, but structurally, I don't know how they made it happen since it's wider at the top then at the bottom.  Also, please note the snowman bride and groom, complete with veil.  Their walkway was made of starburst.  And I love Micah's face.

Brian and Karis had some amazing details on their house, including a melted jolly rancher lake, realistic rock candy chimney, and Karis' signature licorice bows.

Mom and Dad also had some great details in their classic house.  Their log cabin shed was a big hit, and I loved their gum drop lights on the roof.  (Sorry the pic is blurry!)
