Pumpkins + paint + a beautiful fall afternoon = a recipe for fun, right?

Well, turns out the girlies take their fun very seriously.

Smiles or no smiles, though, I'm pretty sure they enjoyed this little activity.
Caroline even indulged in a little body art.

Using the amazing powers of reverse psychology, I finally did get one little smile out of Elli, but only after her pumpkin was fully covered. :)
