Oh, how I love seeing these two sisters enjoying each other. They already have their little inside jokes, their games they play. They are attuned to one another, looking out for each other.
As they get older and can play (and fight) more and more together, their affection and loyalty grows strong. At mother's day out, their rooms are right across from each other; and Elli's teacher told me that Elli will frequently hear Caroline and say, "That's my baby."
My prayer continues to be that their sisterhood extends beyond sharing their two crazy parents, but into a lifelong bond of sharing a heavenly Father. Iron sharpening iron, pointing each other to the truth, preaching the Gospel back and forth, and holding sweet hands through all of life's ups and downs.
