What little creativity I have in me is being spent elsewhere lately. I come to write and find there are no words... I sit down to edit pictures and just have no passion for it. But memories are being made and I don't want to forget a single moment of this season of life, because it.is.precious.
As if you needed proof, I offer this moment...
Yeah, that is pretty much the definition of precious.
Our Easter was a beautiful, simple, sweet day. Our church celebrated for the second year at a local children's amusement park, opening its doors to the neighborhood, serving breakfast tacos, coffee and juice. I continue to be amazed at what God is doing in and through our church. I'm so thankful He's brought us here.
After the service, the park was opened to all the families to enjoy free rides. We had so much fun!
Then we came home, took a much-needed nap, and then hunted for some eggs.
This girl takes her egg-hunting very seriously.
And was very upset when it was over. :)
This girl was a pro - she even left some of the easier ones for her little sister.
I really loved using our chicken's eggs this year. They are a creamy light brown, which made the colors muted and soooo pretty.
