1. Pacifiers Elli finally decided she liked hers, and now we're just waiting for her to learn how to keep it in her mouth for longer than two minutes!
(How long does that usually take, veteran moms?)
2. Caffeine Thank goodness for Diet Coke when night and day have blurred into one. Although I'm not having one every day, they sure do help after a particularly long day/night.

4. My Husband Especially when he cuddles with his baby girl... my heart just melts! Daniel is such a natural daddy, and he's so helpful with every part of caring for Elli. I have a feeling it won't be long before she's a huge daddy's girl. By the way, check out Elli's triple chins! They're so kissable!
5. My Jesus Wonderful as motherhood has been, I've also been stretched more than ever before. In those moments when I feel like giving up, I am reminded of Phil. 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This verse was really helpful during my labor, and now I can look back on those grueling 44 hours (more on that later) and remember how faithful God was to provide me with enough strength to make it through. I can be confident and content because I know that he is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

1. Brooke won't even take a pacifier so who knows how you even keep them in! She would rather have me.
2. Caffeine is amazing. I drink more diet pepsi than I probably should.
3. You have time for running?! I am jealous, I haven't worked out yet and Brooke is over 3 months old.
4. Aren't husbands great? I'm sure Daniel is head over heels for that little girl already!
5. Isn't our God awesome? I am still amazed at the beautiful daughter He has blessed us with!
