As most of you know and have seen, we live in a small, one bedroom apartment, which is perfect and beautiful. The only sad part about it is that I don't have a nursery for Elli. I know it's a small, completely unnecessary luxury, but I guess you always dream about bringing home your sweet baby to their own little space. So, even though it takes up a lot of space in our bedroom, I am so excited that we now have Elli's crib set up! Daniel's parents gave it to us, and they brought it up yesterday! Our original plan for the bedding was to get a neutral set so we could use it again for a boy, but I never fell in love with any of the neutral sets, and this particular set from Potterybarn was always my favorite for a girl. My parents gave us her bedding for a baby gift, so we just waited until we knew baby was a girl. Doesn't she look adorable and tiny in it? I keep sneaking in to peek at her, and I've caught her smiling more than a few times! When she's awake, she likes to have conversations with the birds on her quilt. She is quite the social butterfly, making friends with everyone she meets!
Yesterday, Daniel's mom, sister and nephew came up for the day and brought Elli's crib with them. We had a great time with Daniel's family; Elli gave her Nona (Grandma G's name... it's Italian for Grandma) and Aunt 'Tine lots of big toothless grins when she saw them. Elli's cousin Micah will be two in April, and so he is growing and learning so much right now. We just saw him a few weeks ago, but he already talks more and definitely grew more! He seems more and more like a little boy rather than a toddler every time I see him. He clearly loves his little cousin, and I can't wait for them to be friends!

That bedding is adorable! My mom wants to be called Nona as well, what a small world. :)
