To finish up our whirlwind of a spring break, Elli and I spent a few days relaxing with my family. We didn't do much, so I didn't take many pictures, but here's one of my grandparents coming up to see Elli. She was so alert for them and thought my grandpa's bird calls were the greatest things ever!
Whew... and that catches me up at last! This weekend we are headed back down to Daniel's hometown for a wedding and to celebrate Micah's 2nd birthday. Wow, I can't believe how quickly the last two years have gone! Meanwhile, Elli and I have been trying to get back in routine. She has been sleeping like a champ at night, and recently she has started to wake up playfully. I hear her talking and sucking on her fingers instead of crying.
Daniel is working hard in studio. He has a crit on Friday, but then only one more before graduation!!! Wow! We're so close! He's home sleeping for a few hours right now, and our alarm clock randomly decided to go off in the middle of his nap. I know that it did not go off at 8:37am yesterday, nor did I set it for that time today. It's as if it knew this was the only few hours of sleep Daniel would get in a 48 hour span... I think it's possessed!
