We are here at last! I have thought about, planned for, dreamed of, and put off this day for so long now that it hardly seems real. It still feels like we're on vacation. Our time with family and friends was everything we had hoped for, and we're definitely sad it's over already. I have tons of catch up posts to do... maybe I'll get to that next week.
I LOVE our new home here! Our apartment is huge (for us, at least!) and has tons of luxuries which I am thoroughly enjoying! When we are sufficiently unpacked, I will post a video tour, currently, there are still way too many boxes and piles all around. The best parts: Elli's own room (she's back to sleeping through the night since we've been here!) and washer/dryer!!! Being able to do our laundry without hauling it back and forth is so wonderful! I feel like I'm living in a palace!
Daniel started work yesterday, and although that first day of paperwork is never very exciting, he's thrilled with the firm he's working with.
Elli and I have done a little bit of exploring to find the nearest grocery store and Target, but mostly we've stuck around home, unpacking and playing. I'm so thankful that she has so easily gotten right back in a routine. On our "vacation" she had absolutely no schedule, which pretty much drove me crazy... I like a little structure in my life! She's eating lots of cereal and seems to like the green beans we started her on this week. This month has been so much fun with her! She's so curious and playful. Quick to smile and easy to amuse. And I know it's only going to get better!

Yay! I am so glad you are loving it! Can't wait to see pictures:) love, Michaela
So glad you're there and settling in. Just wish I could help with some of those boxes (we just finished that process at our new place). Hope that these next few weeks are filled with good connections, finding your way around and some picture-filled-blog posts! Love you
P.S. Fun to see our reception site on Daniel's site! Love that connection
glad to hear you guys are doing well! I'm a little jealous of the apartment, since we're in the packing-to-leave-it-for-two-months-as-we-travel-and-wait-for-job-opportunities phase, but I know we'll get there eventually. I can't wait to see what your "luxury apartment" looks like!
