The Crazy Coworker -- A two act play
~A spin off the blockbuster hit "Cherrio -- In Seven Acts"~
Setting: 4:50 p.m. on a Monday in a dead silent office
Woman 1 (who shall remain nameless): cackles loudly and wildly
Woman 2 and Woman 3 turn to stare at Woman 1. Man 1 doesn't react, just he never, ever, ever reacts to anything.
Woman 1: "You have to see this. I'm sure this will make you laugh!"
Woman 2: Looks at Woman 1's computer screen from across room.
Woman 1: "No, you have to come over here. You have to really see this. I promise it's worth it."
Woman 2: Walks over to Woman 1's desk. Looks at computer screen. "Aww, that's cute." Starts to walk away.
Woman 1: No! There's more! Wait!
Woman 2: Looks at screen some more. Laughs.
Woman 1: You actually laughed this time!
Flashback:
Woman 2 is having a rough day. Woman 1 tries to make Woman 2 smile by telling a corny joke. When she receieves a less than the anticipated response, Woman 1 says:
"At least I got a smite smile from you." pause "Crap! I mean a slight smile ... I mean small smile ... I mean ... I can never talk right!!!"
