A Lazy Saturday

Between traveling, company, the half marathon, and Daniel studying for his first licensing exam, we haven't had a laid back weekend in a long time.  After trying (unsuccessfully) to sleep in Saturday morning, we decided to spend the morning at the farmer's market.  Daniel went for a run along the river walk while Elli and I wandered through the bookstore, "window" shopped at the different booths, and snacked on some delicious cinnamon rolls.  Then when Daniel got back, he and I sat and enjoyed watching Elli play with all the kids there. Dirt on the knees is a pretty good indicator of a good time, if you ask me!

On our way back to the car, there was a tent set up a local dog adoption agency.  If you know my husband, you know we barely made it out of there without a friend for Ginger.  Maybe someday, hun.  :) They did have the most adorable little lab puppies, and Elli was so delighted to hold one of them!  At first she was very serious, but she couldn't keep the smiles in for long!
