Our Saturday morning pancake tradition just got even more fun! For Easter, my parents gave Elli some pancake molds, and she could not have been more excited!
Here she is checking out the monkey, elephant, and lion.
I have never used molds before, and I definitely need to thin my batter a little bit so that I won't have to make them so thick next time! Aren't they cute, though?
Kisses while waiting for them to finish cooking...
Showing off the finished masterpiece. She chose the lion to eat.
So much fun! I have a feeling these will get a lot of use!

We use the same jungle molds every Saturday! The kids look forward to it every week. It helps a lot to use Williams-Sonama's pancake pen to create a "thinner" pancake. I also have to spray tons of Pam on the mold in order to get the same look as the picture. Enjoy!
How fun! My mom also gave us the pancake pen, but I think my batter was still too thick. I will have to try using more Pam next time, though! Thanks, Julie!
