Our Resurrection Sunday was wonderful and simple and joyful. We made it to our church's service (the first time since Charlie's birth), and being back with our brothers and sisters there was so good. We did miss our church family in San Antonio; the Easter service there is always so special, and our hearts were happy and hurting just a little to see pictures from Kiddie Park.
The weather was absolutely beautiful all day, even giving us a gentle shower during the girl's rest time. Daniel and I rested and didn't do one bit of work on the house. :)
When we got home, we had an Easter egg hunt for the girls. In past years we've dyed hard-boiled eggs, but since we are oven-less right now, we hid plastic eggs instead. I missed the fun of dying them, but the girls have had so much fun hiding and re-hiding their eggs.
Cara was so excited about every single egg she found, while Elli was a little more systematic in her hunt.
Charlie slept the whole time. :)
They enjoyed discovering what was inside each and every egg.
Before we headed over to Daniel's parents for dinner, we tried to get some family shots.
Daddy and his girlies.
I am one blessed mommy!
I brought my camera to dinner with every intention of taking lots of pictures, but this is the only one I got. I got a keeper, though, of Charlie and her Nonna.
