This weekend we celebrated Charlotte's baptism with our family. Not only as a special milestone in our family, but because God is so faithful and so good. Charlie is such a precious gift to our family, and we hope and pray for the Lord to reveal Himself to her at a very young age.
Charlotte was her usual peaceful, happy self during the service, even sucking her thumb while our pastor held her and prayed.
For some inexplicable reason, Elli and Cara thought the actual baptism was hilarious and could not contain their giggles during the prayer. (The first of many moments of uncontrollable public laughter, I'm sure.) Fortunately they were pretty quiet, so I don't think it was disruptive.
Since my parents were in town, we had to take the opportunity to grab some grandparent pics!
