To be honest, our Fourth of July was kind of miserable. We had planned a great afternoon and evening at SeaWorld, but when we got out there, it was so packed that there was no more parking. Not worth it! I was slightly on edge the whole day (we'll blame it on the 6am long run and a headache, but really that's no excuse... my poor sweet husband had to put up with me all day long), and we were both missing our family and friends. But... let's focus on the positive!
In the end, we stayed at home, swam in our little pool, and made BLTs. We decided not to drag Elli out to see fireworks when we didn't really know where we were going anyway. Hopefully next year we'll have a better idea of what's going on.
Elli is really enjoying swimming these days. There are flowering trees all around the pool in bloom right now, and their little petals fall in the water. She loves to watch them and chase them with her hand. She hasn't really started to use the pincher grasp yet, so she can never quite catch them! And of course, she loves to splash!

Hey Meg! Sorry about the bummer day. That stinks about sea world being so crowded. Everyone had to see Shamu I guess:) I am missing you guys! Lets talk and catch up soon.
